Happy Songkran!

Dear EY2 Families,

thank you for coming to Coffee Meeting on Thursday! It is always a great pleasure to see you and it is so rewarding to work with you. You can find the slides and KIS Language Curriculum on the pages.

This week we had a great opportunity to see how grade 5 students take action. We went to see their PYP Exhibition with our reading buddies. It is just amazing how smart and caring students we have at KIS!

Thank you once more for helping us and 5th grade students with the BOOK Drive. We collected most books at the whole PYP school and we got our pizza party on Wednesday. YUMMY!

We finished our UOI “Exploring Materials” with the same way as we started the unit. Students were sorting different objects and most of them naturally started to sort them now by materials. Some objects had more than one material and students had to discuss and negotiate which category they would use. It was wonderful to watch how they use their new knowledge and how they work together as a group.

Hardest part of our week was to say farewell to our lovely friend Alice. We wish you and your family all the best in Netherlands and we hope to see you back at KIS one day!IMG_1925 IMG_1921

We had a  great week with many Songkran activities. Thank you for our Thai department and for the whole KIS community for organizing such a memorable week for us!

Have a wonderful Songkran Break!
