Welcome to EY3

Welcome to the new school year!
This year in EY3 we have 35 returning students and 14 new students.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to the following students who are new to KIS:
EY3A – Jasmine, Kacy, Pete, and Pranvat
EY3B – Ada, Janvi, Motto, Sky, and Zeina
EY3C – Ava, Justin, Kin, Paris, and Penne

By now you should have received a copy of our class schedules.
If not, you can find them at the following link: EY3 Schedule (annotated)

NOTE: No swimming classes on the first day of school (Tues. 13th Aug.).
EY3A and EY3B students should wear their PE uniforms on Tuesday 13th.
EY3C students are to wear their regular school uniform.

Arrival
When students arrive in the morning, they put their backpacks in their cubbies and their water bottles in the crates (each of which is marked with Class A, B, or C) on the table outside our classroom door. They then head outside to the playground. Morning supervision starts at 7:30am and the children have outside play time until 7:50am when the bell rings. We then line up by class outside before heading into the classroom.

NOTE: Students are to go to their classrooms at 7:30 AM on the first day of school. If your child arrives after 7:30, please bring them straight to EY3.

Dismissal
Children are dismissed at 2:30pm and are signed out by parents/guardians and remain with that adult until they leave school premises. At 2:45pm, remaining students are taken to the library for supervision and are signed out from there.
