We had also discovered many small caterpillars in our choy sum garden bed where they were having a feast.

We now have a few of these caterpillars in containers where we can observe how they are changing. We have see something that look like small eggs as well as structures resembling a spider web. We think that they may be changing into cocoons.

Outdoor Play
Last week, some students got together to design and create an obstacle course outside on the basketball court.

Students had fun exploring the course, challenging themselves, and timing one another.

The previous week, EY3 students also created an obstacle course in the construction play area. The video below shows a demonstration.

The Learner Profile Song
Last Friday afternoon, Ms. Nicholas and his G5 class came to EY3 to teach us a song about the Learner Profile. There are 10 attributes in the learner profile, and this song is a great way to help us remember them all.

First, the G5 students taught us the lyrics and actions as a whole group. Then the EY3 students split up into small groups and practiced with one of the G5 students.

A big thank you to Mr. Nicholas and his students for taking time to share this with us.
