Information about EY3’s costumes for this year’s holiday concert can be found on Mr. Chris’ music blog: https://klearning.ict.kis.ac.th/kblog/music/
Each EY3 class will be singing their own song (as listed above), and then they will all sing a song together. You can find the details at the following link:
Students are practicing sequencing events through retelling what they do during their day at school as well as retelling stories, using transition words such as in the morning/afternoon/evening, yesterday/today/tomorrow, last week, this week, next week, first, next, then, finally, etc.
One of our stories, Rosie’s Walk, also gives us the opportunity to begin understanding position words such as across, around, over, past, through, and under.
Students are continuing to make connections to the number ten through exploration of Numicon resources and documenting it.
They are also exploring symbolism using the plus sign to connect the components.
Unit of Inquiry
For our current Unit of Inquiry, we will be looking at maps. Students are beginning to tune in to elements of maps by building their own ‘cities’ using roads, trees, houses, lakes, etc.
We have also begun adding our students’ relatives’ photos to our world map. Thank you so much, parents, for sending in your family photos as well as artifacts for this unit.
It was great to see some new faces coming to explore our garden and to help tend to our plants and crops.
Students are getting hands-on experience with many of the processes involved in making a garden grow.
Loose Parts Play
Thank you so much for all of your contributions to our loose parts play area.
We don’t need any more materials at the moment.
Students brought home their library folders yesterday.
