Just a quick mention for the Musical and drama club who performed, at the awards ceremony, one of their songs’ Champion ‘ from their upcoming performance entitled ‘Going for gold’.  The actual show will be performed in January so look out for it.

On Wednesday we were invited to a coding workshop and learnt lots about how to code to move robots, cars, complete a rubik cube and to time ourselves. Our reflective words to describe the experience included fascinating, informative and  inspirational.

Also on Wednesday, Grade 5 had their seasonal end of term party where the grade had the opportunity to mix up and play games, relax to a movie, make decorations and of course enjoy the delicious food provided by the parents (thank you for that and to the parents who helped on the day.)

On Thursday we were invited to watch the lower school’s performance. This was a lovely treat, they all did so well.

All of these events went along with our continued Literacy lessons where the students have been creating some fascinating stories. This style of writing will continue into the new term.

As for Maths, the students are finishing their work for the moment on data handling and will be moving onto simple algebra.

Our unit on Energy will soon be at an end and the students will begin their learning journeys towards exhibition. We are are all looking forward to that.

Finally just a a big thank you for all of your support this term and a huge

Happy holiday to you all
