Term 2 Week 6

Yay! Mr Nic is back and we get to keep Mr Ed!

The students spent last week writing questions based upon their lines of inquiry and researching those questions. They reviewed their learning through their weekly reflections linked to the learner profile attributes. This week, they will be continuing to work towards their weekly plans having written these during last week mainly focusing on research linked to the lines of inquiry.

Fractions- how to add and subtract these using a lowest common denominator, changing the answers to mixed fractions and simplifying these are the mathematical focus for next week with some students looking into how fractions relate to decimal numbers.

In Literacy we will be continuing to work on  note taking and research skills. Finding key information to aid our exhibition work and also learning how to write definitions of words to add to our glossaries.
