Travelling Arrangement

KIS will provide transportation to and from Prep for students and coaches only, leaving KIS car park at 7:10am and return back to KIS at approx. 3:00 pm on Saturday. However, if you’re planning to take your child there yourself, you should meet us in Prep’s Gym at 7:40am. Please email Coach Oh (rattapon.bo@edu.kis.ac.th) to confirm your child’s attendance, if they will take the Bus to Prep and/or back to KIS.

Dress Code

All swimmers should wear their coaching swimsuit (dark navy blue and green with KIS logo) underneath the KIS TEAM shirt. Students should bring with them a towel, KIS Swim Team cap (white), goggles, shower gel, sunscreen and a change of clothes.

Puppy Cup Ethos

This meet will be run at a pace that is conducive to the developing swimmer. If a swimmer requires time to be encouraged at the starting blocks then the race will wait. No pressure should be placed on any swimmer to swim any event they do not want to – but we will be patient in allowing a child to receive feedback from their coach prior to each race. One coach from each school is recommended at the poolside and block marshaling area. There is the ‘3 ask’ procedure in place for reluctant swimmers. There are no DQ’s (Disqualification) and false starts will be handled as comfortably as possible without affecting other swimmers. Please help to support the organizers, coaches, and if needed, your child’s decision at all times to enable the event to remain as relaxed and stress-free for all of our developing swimmers as possible.
