G1 update 27th May

This week in G1

In inquiry we were delving into roles and responsibilities within the KIS community and finding the connections between us all.

Literacy connected to inquiry as we shared information and opinions on roles in the community.

We visited the ICT suite to continue working on coding. This time we used code to control speed, time and direction and tried out Mr. Eric’s challenges. We found we could control colour and sound as well.

We competed in houses around the obstacle courses set by the House Captains with EY3. Erawan won both this section and the whole school competition. Well done to all the students in Erawan.

Monday 30th May ALl library books need to be returned to school.

Thursday 2nd June – Visit from Krok and Pitches acapella group for students

Friday 3rd June  – HM Queen Suthida’s Birthday (holiday, school and office closed)

Monday 6th June – G1 end of year party

Friday 10th June  – Last Day of School (half day, 12:00pm dismissal)
