This past week, we continued our investigations into how matter can change between different states, and how people do this intentionally to benefit our lives.
In math, we inquired into the measurement of volume, and did several activities where we had to estimate the amount of volume different containers had, and whether we should use liters or milliliters as a measurement.
In Literacy, we are continuing to read non-fiction texts about the scientific method and different types of scientists. We then took the information that we had gathered and used it to plan and write a narrative story about a scientist as the main character of the story.
One week left until the end of this unit and our Songkran break. We we would like to thank all of the parents who have been supportive of their children’s enthusiasm for preparing experiments at home, as well as the parents who volunteered their time to come in and share with us interesting knowledge about how to make different things through the change of states of matter.
