Good afternoon G3 Parents and Families,
Sadly this will be the last G3 blog post for academic year of 2021-22.
What a year it has been. We would like to say what an amazing supportive and caring community of students, parents and families you have been. It hasn’t been easy with so many changes and disruptions over the past year but it has given us all lots of new opportunities to reflect change and grow.
The last week of school has been a blur of finishing off work, reflecting on the school year, saying our goodbyes and enjoying time with our classes and grade.
Monday – Thursday was spent working through the must do can do tasks and reflecting on the school year.
End of Year Class Party.
We started with our favourite game, dodgeball! It was a highly competitive and fun hour of matches between the classes and teachers!
Working up an appetite to tuck into the amazing G3 spread of yummy food.
Then the children had a range of activities to choose from disco 💃🏾 🕺 party, Mafia game, general games or hanging out with friends.
Friday was an emotional day as we sadly had to say goodbye to two students Indigo and Rintaro who will be leaving the KIS family. We wish both families all the best as they move on to new adventures.
After over 20 years of working at KIS, we had to finally say goodbye to Ms June. The PYP School gave her an amazing heartfelt goodbye with wonderful singing in the auditorium
Thank you for your generous gifts, ongoing support as always.
Enjoy your summer holidays. Stay safe and enjoy your time with family and friends.
The next academic year starts 8th August 2022.
Best wishes,
The G3 Team
