A ruler for a day
Last week, Grade 5 experienced what it was like to be in a country which had an absolute monarch governing it. They were not all in favour and in at least one class a rebellion occured. They investigated both the advantages and disadvantages of this type of governance and having lived through the experience have a better understanding of what this could be like. Please ask them to explain this to you.
This week they will be inquiring into the pros and cons of democracy and seeing how it feels to be part of this government system.
