Welcome Back Everybody!

It was lovely to welcome both Group 1 and 2 back into school this week. As you can see we all enjoyed being here and having a little bit more space to move about in, in our drama and presentation skills lessons.

Unit of inquiry

This week the students have been collaborating with their peers to create a presentation based upon a chosen refugee/migration diary. They have written scripts, created backdrops and practiced their acting skills. We are really looking forward to seeing these next week.

The focus this week has been on how to improve our vocal and acting skills in order to present our end of unit presentations next week. We worked on body movement, voice confidence and an awareness of our environments.

The students have been investigating different strategies to solve multiplication problems in order for them to be able to choose the most appropriate method for their own learning and for the problem in hand.  We will be continuing this line of inquiry next week and will  begin to delve into more complicated problems.

Loy Kratong

It was wonderful that many of the students could celebrate Loy Kratong this week by making kratongs and by wearing traditional dress. We hope you have a very enjoyable celebration today.
