EY 1 will be performing in the holiday concert at the end of this term. Costume details will be discussed a little closer to the event.

Early Years music at KIS is based on music and movement. If you have a favourite song let Mr Chris know so we can sing it in class!

We will be performing in the end-of-year show.
Your teachers will tell you more about what you are doing but we will be ending the show with ‘Try Everything’ from the movie Zootopia and the KIS song which we will all sing together.

We have an exciting year of music-making ahead of us in EY1 as we sing, dance, perform and, through play, lay the groundwork to develop skills such as the beat and the rhythm. We will learn alphabet songs, number songs and songs about our friends and families.
We will learn songs about our bodies, the world around us and our feelings as we settle in and grow throughout the year in EY1.

Our first unit, however, is a school-wide unit, Inspiring Individuals:

The summer concert is here and this year we are singing Ten Little Ducks to celebrate our ducky friends who spent so much of the year with us before moving to their new lives at Happy Duck Farm where all the happy ducks live.
