Thanks to the many parents that came out to support this year’s Sports Day! We were very lucky with the weather and the students thoroughly enjoyed the friendly competition and fun activities. Special thanks to Mr Verne who did a fantastic job in organizing and running the day. The students were highly engaged as they navigated their way through the various challenges that required them to put their PE skills to the test, as well as cheer on their team mates thereby fostering a high level of school spirit!
The PS event was split into two sections with KG-G2 taking to the field first, followed by grades 3-5. Points were given for both performance and also for students/teams that displayed the attributes of the Learner Profile, and the attitudes endorsed by the IB. In the end it was a very close race but team Naga just scraped in with enough points to secure first place in the UGS, and … came out winners in the LGS.
