Transdisciplinary Theme for this year’s exhibition is ‘Sharing the Planet’. Within this theme, the children have split into four perspectives:
We all have rights and responsibilities in the struggle to share finite resources with other people and other living things. |
Relationships within, and between, communities have a significant global impact. |
Access to equal opportunities shapes communities and makes a difference in people’s lives. |
Finding peaceful solutions to conflict leads to a better quality of life. |
Student have crafted their own lines of inquiry within their groups. As we enter the Finding out phase it is time to revisit our research skills:
During this time students are independently creating their questions and using various sources to find out more about their particular line of inquiry.
Students then will create surveys and interviews to get first-hand information and opinions about the information they have gained.
Update:
Most groups have already finished their research and have contacted either an organization or an expert of their choosing. Now all that is left is to gather, collect and put all their knowledge into Exhibition.
Update2:
What a great evening!
