KIS Sports

Dear Coaching Parents,

With Mr Paul’s email which was recently sent out (Parent update, Feb. 26 (PM)) I would like to clarify a little further what this means for KIS Sports with regards to Games and Tournaments. As per the letter Games and Tournaments will be canceled from now until Songkran. With regards to AISAA and other schools, this is still unclear if the other schools will continue or will look to follow suit in canceling their sports. However we (KIS) will be unable to reschedule these events for the time being but I will look to attend an AISAA meeting to discuss this all further.

Therefore with regards to KIS Sports, we will be canceling the following events:

• Varsity Basketball Tournaments (1/3/20)
• Varsity Basketball reschedule games (3/3/20 and 10/3/20)
• G3-U Boys Football vs Berkeley (4/3/20)
• G10-U Boys Football vs Lycée Français International de Bangkok (5/3/20)
• Varsity Badminton Tournament (9/3/20)
• Battle of the Bands (11/3/20)
• Secondary Tennis Tournament (13/3/20)
• Secondary Swim Gala (16/3/20)
• G7-U & G10-U Table Tennis Tournament (18/3/20)
• 25m Friendly Swim with Shrewsbury (30/3/20)
• G10-U Volleyball League games and Tournaments

As we watch the COVID-19 situation unfolds, the leadership team will review events scheduled after Songkran holiday to reflect the appropriate measures in line with the school health and safety policy. Please note that all KIS coaching will continue as normal, we are simply not having games or tournaments.

Secondary Coaching: Season 3

Please note in terms of Season 3 SECONDARY Coaching we will continue, we will continue as planned but please note we will simply be training and there will be no games or Tournament.
